WeWork Community Tools

Web

Customer research, UX, UI, and design for two features integrated into a web platform that allowed WeWork community managers to manage their buildings, interface with members, and stay on top of their tasks.

1. Automated Invoice Review

Community managers are tasked with reviewing the end of month invoices for all the members in the buildings they manage, a tedious task that could take up to a few days and involved checking multiple sources of information and crosschecking them one against the others. Our job was to shorten this process, as well as improve the accuracy of the invoices issued at the end of the month.

Invoice reviewing was a fragmented process that involved checking and cross-checking email, notes, slack and various websites.

The final designs presented a consolidated view of all information Community Managers needed to evaluate whether an invoice was accurate, in a way where they could easily scan the most important information and quickly determine the correct course of action.

Once an invoice was reviewed, they could be easily checked off and they were automatically directed to the next one in the list.

The entire web portal underwent a redesign, and the Automated Invoice Review was updated as well.

2. Base Building Documents

Community Managers need to have access to all the information about the buildings they manage. Currently that information is stored on a separate system, in a haphazard and unorganized format, and not updated regularly. Our task was to bring the information into CM's existing web portal, in an intuitivestandardized, and easily accessible manner.
